Prospero’s

Denise and I spent some time at Prospero’s Books on 39th street in Kansas City, Missouri. We were enamored with the plush chair that looked like a stiletto heel, so naturally we tried to buy it to no avail. However, the owner of Prospero’s was really cool and found an old copy of Pride and Prejudice for me (if you’ve followed this blog or know me personally, you know that I collect Pride and Prejudice copies-I’m up to 72 copies)! I will say, I love the smell of old books, (especially library books), and so I enjoyed being in the bookstore among all of the old, tattered books.
