Lazy Mornings

Lazy Mornings

There’s nothing I like better then a lazy morning. I love waking up slowly, making breakfast (cinnamon rolls, bacon, and eggs-yes, please), having wonderful conversations with someone that makes me laugh, playing a little Uno, drinking a little La Croix, and eating my favorite Live, Love, Pop popcorn. I spy a guy that makes me laugh and loves lazy mornings just as much as I do. = )

Now, BedHead Pajamas loves to make us as comfortable (and cute) as possible while having our ideal lazy morning. (Insert matching crossword puzzle pajamas). Another thing we love to do: crossword puzzles! (Go figure). When it comes to Pajamas, BedHead does it so well.

(PS-they have really cute men’s pajamas & robes too – in case y’all want to match).

Rise & Shine

Rise & Shine

If y’all follow along with my blog, you know I LOVE pajamas! You also know that I’m extremely fond of Bedhead Pajamas, and have been ever since I saw them years ago on popular TV show, Friends. These pjs are so soft and they make sleeping that much more comfortable-as if I need another reason to sleep longer 😉

If you are looking for a last minute gift idea for Valentine’s Day, look no further! Between flowers (roses, lilies, or a combo), some chocolates (chocolate covered strawberries or blueberries), and a set of Bedhead Pajamas–you will be golden!

This weekend we went to the wall by Fortuity in Kansas City, Missouri to shoot our awesome heart KC shirts from Charlie Hustle. Charlie Hustle has partnered up with American Heart Association during the month of February which is heart month. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Charlie Hustle has teamed up with the AHA to design the second annual exclusive KC Heart collection to spread awareness and raise funds for years to come. Part of the proceeds raised by this collection will help fund innovative research at local institutions, fight for stronger public health policies and provide more educational opportunities. So grab your limited edition shirts and hats this month before they are all gone at Charlie Hustle on the Country Club Plaza or online here!

Holiday Red

Typically I wear pretty conservative lips colors, so when I got the chance to work with BA Star, I was excited (and a bit nervous) about the bright red Holiday Red lip pencil they would be sending me. After putting it on, I was instantly intrigued with how lovely it was. It was very bright, but it glided on with ease, lasted all day long, and was surprisingly moisturizing. BA Star has a lot of cosmetic products that are meant for cheerleaders and dance teams, but don’t let yourself shy away from some amazing (and very economically priced) makeup. I will be putting on my Holiday Red as the season rolls around and will be jingling all the way!

PS-If you want to get your own Holiday Red lip color pencil, BA Star is offering 50% off to all my readers using the code: BBLIPS

Golden Hour

A little bit ago, I was contacted by LendPerk, a new e-boutique, to try out their services and give my feedback. LendPerk is explained at the “Netflix for Dresses”, where you can rent dresses that you would otherwise purchase at Anthropologie, Asos, Modcloth, and other stores. I was intrigued by the proposal, and went on to look at the choices. I finally decided on this Goldleaf Cocktail Dress by Project Alabama. I’m pretty much a sucker for anything gold-so it was the obvious choice. When I received the package with the dress in it, there was another return envelope that was prepaid and ready to be mail after I was done with the dress. (Bonus-you can keep it up to a week, which means you don’t have to race to the post office and mail it back the second after you wear it). I loved the convenience factor!

The only “cons” of LendPerk were the inventory of dresses and the lack of descriptive categories. While the selection is currently pretty limited, and the categories are just “party” and “casual”-leaving much to be desired, I believe with a few more month of brand awareness outreach and popularity increase, LendPerk will find itself a steady stream of customers and a loyal client list!
