I had a little lunch date at Capital Grille and decided to wear a very casual look (jeans and a white ruffled button-down) with Sam Edelman knee-high cognac boots and a large lapel coat. I am loving this large lapel coat that I scooped up at cute online boutique, I Saw it First, because it’s cozy, oversized, longer than most of my other jackets, and under $50! I also enjoy the fact that it lends a bit of unintentional drama to an otherwise easy, classic look.

I am absolutely smitten with this black and white abstract top! It looks like a combination of marble and splatter paint, but the beaded v-neck detailing adds a pop of glam to this day to night perfect top! I wore it to coffee with a girlfriend, and then to dinner with my gentleman.
Find this top and other great day to night or date night tops at Alysa Rene Boutique at Park Place in Leawood or online here.

How awesome is this dress? As a child, I was bound and determined to get a dalmatian (or a couple) as our family dog. I have always loved the look of dalmatians and the print is oh so fabulous (cue the Cruella Deville song)! But seriously, French Connection completely killed it with this number. I’m totally in love!
I paired this with my favorite (surprisingly comfortable) SJP Strappy sandals, my polka dot Brynn Hudson earrings, and a pair of easy tortoiseshell sunglasses.
