Lunch Date

I had a little lunch date at Capital Grille and decided to wear a very casual look (jeans and a white ruffled button-down) with Sam Edelman knee-high cognac boots and a large lapel coat. I am loving this large lapel coat that I scooped up at cute online boutique, I Saw it First, because it’s cozy, oversized, longer than most of my other jackets, and under $50! I also enjoy the fact that it lends a bit of unintentional drama to an otherwise easy, classic look.

Galentine’s Day

BleakersJan0062

If you don’t have a significant other, or you’re a lot like Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda and your gals are your soulmates – here’s an outfit that will help you rock your Galentine’s Day plans. Here I paired a fun open-shoulder, ruffled, three-tiered top, with sleek black jeans, and a great rose-gold crossbody purse. I love a good arm party, so I stacked multiple bangles for more of a relaxed feel to this glam look.

I just love the velvet trend that is going on this fall. This Michael Stars velvet tee from Alysa Rene Boutique feels amazing against my skin. In typical Michael Stars fashion, all of his tees are incredible affordable luxury that last forever!

Modern Vintage

A couple things about this beautiful top…I am loving the fact that it has this modern vintage feel to it. I mean, who doesn’t like a good vintage piece? I also love the tastefully done beading along the bottom of the top that lends an interesting eyelet look to the overall aesthetic. You can purchase this top for yourself at Alysa Rene Boutique in Leawood.

Now let’s talk shoes. These gold beauties from the #nsale this summer were a “must have” for me. I owned a pair of muted gold Michael Kors shoes in college (albeit patent leather) and I wore them to death, because they went with literally everything., lending a bit of glam to each outfit I wore them with! So when I saw these on the Nordstrom Sale this summer, I had to have them (spoken like the creepy man in the State Farm commercial)!
